My job for P-STEP (pstep.co.uk) involved providing UX expertise throughout the different stages of the app development. One of my main duties at this job was to lead the co-design of a mHealth app to provide evidence-based air quality and exercise advice to users with various chronic conditions.

Research Assistant
My work for the Arete project (areteproject.eu) involved recruiting teacher and student participants matching the requirements of a study in Europe and South America, to collect and analyse data with qualitative and quantitative methods and instruments, to inform the design of educational augmented (AR) and virtual (VR) reality tools with reports and publications.
2017 - 2020
I worked as part of the Participatory Design team of Go-Lab (golabz.eu) on tasks including conducting user research, analysing user behaviour, eliciting user requirements from key project stakeholders and end-users from across 15 European countries, and creating mock-ups, usability reports, and plugins for the platform.

Computer Science PhD
During my PhD at the University of Leicester, I studied different HCI methods, technologies, and instruments that help assess the user experience. The main study of my research evaluated the impact of various individual gamification elements in two questioning-based learning applications. I recruited over 600 participants from three countries for this two-part face-to-face experiment.

Cloud Computing MSc
During my master's program at the University of Leicester, I specialised in Cloud Computing, Advanced Web Technologies, Software Project Management, and Requirements Engineering. I gained expertise in software development methodologies and usability testing by designing, developing, and evaluating mobile and desktop applications.

Relief Library Supervisor
2019 - 2020
My role as a Relief Library Supervisor at the University of Leicester (le.ac.uk/library) required me to coordinate the different teams working on site, facilitate and supervise several user services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, timetabling shifts and organising tasks, and acting as the line manager and main point of contact and troubleshooting for the university’s library during my shifts.

Graduate Teaching Assistant
My duties as a GTA at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Leicester (cs.le.ac.uk) involved assisting with practical work in the laboratories, teaching tutorial lessons to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and marking exams and homework. Some of my regular modules were: Databases and Web Applications, Requirements Engineering and Professional Practice, Software Project Management, Understanding and Using Statistical Information.

Research Assistant
This temporary role at the University of Leicester (le.ac.uk) required me to recruit participants to conduct a usability and user experience experiment, using a variety of instruments to measure user responses to the software through brainwave activity, eye gaze, heart and lung rates, and self-reported evaluations.

UX Designer & Data Analyst
As a UX Designer at the Arios Hotel, I developed a website and a management system for the company, working in parallel on digital marketing and web analytics to boost engagement and provide with a positive user experience.

For my part-time role as a Community Manager at the Arios Hotel, I was responsible for the graphic design of the brand, promoting online campaigns, and managing their social media.
